About this site
MattandJosieBehrend.com was created in late 2004 as our personal site to post our thoughts and opinions on things, as well as let people know what is going on in our lives. The photo galleries are our way of sharing a glimpse of our lives with you.
Technical mumbo jumbo
This site was designed with web standards by Brian Behrend of seven22 Design. When handed over, the site validated as proper XHTML 1.0 Transitional and CSS. Using proper standards allows this site to be both backward and forward compatible. Older browsers may not get the same experience, but the content and structure will remain intact for them. It should even be perfectly usable completely unstyled. Modern web browsers will see this site exactly as it was intended, while Internet Explorer users will have a slightly less pleasant experience.
The original design was created using Macromedia Fireworks and then coded with Dreamweaver and skEdit. The site is hosted on a Linux/Apache platform and powered by a modified version of MovableType 3.2b1.
seven22 Design is available for web design consultation through their site.
Syndication information
The best way to keep up with all our updates is to subscribe to one of our RSS feeds. Never miss a single post or new photo gallery. The feeds let you know when anything is updated without even having to visit the site! More and more sites are providing RSS feeds every day. Check out Feedster to find more feeds.
There are several RSS feeds to choose from to help you keep up with this site. Don't even know what RSS is? Then find out more information here or read a great description of what they are and how they can be used here.
This site offers three different feeds and several different formats. Don't know which format is right for you? The RSS 2.0 feeds are probably fine, if you have any issues check your reader's documentation or try a different feed format. Right click a link below to copy it into your reader:
Feel free to contact the webmaster if you have any issues with the feeds or anything else on the site.
